3DS (three-dimensional simulator) is our durability-first hitting strip — sized to drop straight into SIGPRO™ 3D mat cutouts (28″ × 12″ × 2 3/8″, ±1/8″ tolerance) or any DIY subfloor opening of the same dimensions. A firmer build than the [Trak18 SFT](/products/hitting-strip) — tuned for realistic feel, honest feedback, and high-volume use.
Multi-layer build. - 1″ woven tufted turf face — vibrant green simulator-grade blade structure. Woven (not glued) construction holds up to heavy practice volume in both residential and commercial bays. - Polyurethane mid-layer — engineered fiber matrix that absorbs impact energy and delivers the responsive feel of a real fairway lie. - EVA foam base with absorption cavity — soaks up vertical shock to protect joints without going mushy. Returns to shape between strikes.
Honest feedback. Firm enough to punish fat shots the way real turf does, forgiving enough to practice on every day. Closer to real-course feel than a softer insert.
Tee systems. Use a Tomahawk NEO, BirTee, or TeeClaw to set tee height — the dense woven turf works with adapter-based tee systems rather than pushing a wood tee straight into the face.
Drops into SIGPRO™ mats. Dimensioned to replace a worn-out SIGPRO™ 3D strip in the same mat without rework — pop the old strip out, drop the 3DS in. Also works as a standalone insert in DIY subfloor builds at the same 28″ × 12″ opening.
